Specialist Office Expectations
We are a glaucoma sub-specialist office and we often see older patients with complicated issues. Dr. Lin knows when you have arrived and we strive to see everyone on a timely basis. However, it's not uncommon for us to manage someone emergently in the office or to arrange for immediate surgery to prevent blindness. Additionally, sometimes an elderly patient may simply take longer even with routine care, such as checking for glasses. If we happen to be running behind on the day of your visit, we appreciate your patience and understanding. If a specialist doctor's nature of operation does not suit your needs, we can help you make an appintment with other eye doctors who focus more on routine check-ups and preventive care.
Advocacy and Gratitude
We work hard every day to be your best advocate in a medical care system that has become more and more challenging to understand and navigate. Countless hours are spent to understand insurance rules and to process papeworks in order to make the most appropriate treatment available; the amount of administrative work done by both staff and physician behind the scene is tantamount to the medical care delivered in the office and operating room. We have seen many of our patients for a decade more and we value your trust and continued patronage. We also appreciate your referrals and your thoughtful gifts; when you refer your family members for surgery or bring us homemade goodies or homegrown vegetables, we know we have done our job right.
We are grateful for the opportunity to help others and we look forward to serving our patients and community for many years to come.
